Daily Prompt: Autumn Leaves
Changing colors, dropping temperatures, pumpkin spice lattes: do these mainstays of Fall fill your heart with warmth — or with dread?
This photo was taken a few years ago while visiting my family back East.
I am SO ready for fall! Usually you would hear me saying “I can’t believe summer is almost over! Ugh!” but this year I am surprisingly excited about fall even though we don’t really get to see and experience the beauty of fall in Southern California. Our fall weather is pretty much like summer, mostly sunny but cooler temperature and some rain, if we’re lucky! I actually miss the rain too! California is badly needing some rainfall. It’s not even funny how dry it is here nowadays. This drought needs to end soon! Now, I miss the East Coast weather even more! Well…with the exception of monster blizzards. I have to say that fall is my favorite season when back East and spring in the West Coast. I love how the leaves are changing colors and it just looks absolutely beautiful just like in spring time when the flowers are starting to bloom. 🙂
“ How you look at a situation is very important, for how you think about a problem may defeat you before you ever do anything about it. When you get discouraged or depressed, try changing your attitude from negative to positive and see how life can change for you. Remember, your attitude toward a situation can help you to change it — you create the very atmosphere for defeat or victory." – Franco Harris View all posts by exploreadventurediscover.com

boston seems already autumn. tokyo is still hot. at least 1 month, util leaves start their colors.
Same here in California! Last week was super hot but I’m glad that it’s getting a little cooler this week. Fall colors are so pretty even more so in Japan!
