What makes a good storyteller, in your opinion? Are your favorite storytellers people you know or writers you admire?

I think a good storyteller is someone who can vividly describe the story that they are sharing. There should be passion in the way that they convey their story where it will make you feel like you were actually there and witnessed the events first-hand. It should be convincing enough that you can’t wait to hear more of their story because you are looking forward to how everything unfolds. The storyteller should have the ability to engage their audience and tap their curiosity. The audience should be able to relate to the story because the storytelling is coming form the heart and it awakens their emotions. They should feel sadness, happiness, excitement and fear. A good storyteller can make you believe in the impossible and leaves a lasting impression about their stories and themselves.
