Food for Thought: October 27

Learning from our mistakes becomes harder when we continue to punish ourselves for making them.
There may be decisions we’ve made that we wish we could revisit with the wisdom and understanding we have today.
But we cannot expect our past selves to have known everything we’ve learned through experience.
Taking responsibility for our choices is important, yet constantly revisiting them with regret doesn’t change what happened.
We can acknowledge where we went wrong, make amends when possible, and allow ourselves to grow without carrying the same guilt indefinitely. 💜

What past mistake have you continued to hold against yourself, and what have you learned from that experience?
