Sunset Run

I’m not really a fitness junkie but I try to exercise and watch what I eat. Some years ago I used to go to the gym at least 3 to 4 times a week but I decided to cancel my membership because it was getting really expensive and I resorted to working out at home instead or outdoors. Actually, I used to exercise at home before I joined the gym some years ago. I remember getting up really early in the morning so I can do the Denise Austin fat burning cardio workout which I really enjoyed because she is just so wonderful and inspiring. Unfortunately, I became lazy and quit working out all at once. I’ve been trying to get back to it though within the last couple of months and luckily I no longer have to pay for a gym membership since the place I live at now has its own gym which makes it so convenient. On days that I don’t feel like going to the gym but still want to do some exercise, I go to a park or the beach where I can watch the sunset and do some running or fast walking. I enjoy exercising outdoors more because the time seems to go by faster and the best part is…I get to watch the sunset! 😉 Another bonus is that I get to take photos of the sunset and that’s exactly what I did yesterday! Not only did I enjoy exercising but I also got to do my most favorite thing of all…taking photographs :).

Here are some of the photographs that I took with my phone. Hope you like it! 🙂

And for dinner, I ordered to go at this vegetarian place not too far from the park where I went and it definitely did not disappoint! 🙂

This one is called Fresh Summer Rollz and it’s made with green leaf lettuce, mint, bean sprouts, rice vermicelli noodles, and tofu strips wrapped in a thin rice paper shell and it comes with a house special peanut sauce.

This one is called Wok Fried Drunken Noodlez with a vegetarian faux chicken. It’s made with big flat rice noodles, carrots, bean sprouts, celery, onions, broccoli and seasoned with a light sauce. You can order this with either a faux chicken, faux beef, veggies or tofu. Please ignore the paper plate! Hahahaha! It saves me time from washing the dishes when I’m not in the mood for it! 🙂

Oh and I almost forgot! I noticed that there were some motivational words written on the ground and I took a few snaps of my favorite ones.

This one says “BE KIND” but you can barely see the word “BE”.

This one is a great morale boost and it applies to everything in life! 🙂
