Throwback Thursday: La’ie Point

La'ie PointThis photo was taken in 2008 while vacationing in Hawaii. This was the day that we were driving around the island and La’ie Point, which is located in the town of La’ie in the northern shore of Oahu was one of our stops. I really love this place as it is so serene and absolutely breathtaking. I have seen many beautiful places before and while on that trip but there was something special about La’ie Point. It’s so beautiful that I can just picture myself, sitting at one of the rocks and be staring in awe for hours. I wanted to watch the sunset there but we couldn’t stay longer as we still had other places to go to that day. I would really love to go back there someday and spend more time to capture more of its beauty.

Another MUST visit attraction in La’ie is the Polynesian Cultural Center which isn’t too far from La’ie Point. It is a Polynesian-themed theme park and a living museum. I’ve had the chance to visit the theme park years ago and it is not just entertaining but educational as well. You will need to spend a whole day there to get the most out of your visit. The evening show was great and the luau was a fun experience. I highly recommend checking out both places when you happen to be visiting Oahu. I’m sure you will love it as much as I do! 🙂
