Photography: Standing Tall Through the Rain

_standing_tallThis was taken in 2010 during a stormy weekend in SoCal. I’ve always wanted to try taking a photo of a plant or flower while it’s raining where you can actually see the rain in the background and that day was perfect for experimenting :D. It took a couple of shots and I’m glad I kept trying because the outcome is exactly what I wanted! That’s why never give up! Patience and persistence always pays off! 😉 Also the reason why this photo is called “Standing Tall Through the Rain” because as long as we believe, trust ourselves and we have faith, we will persevere and become triumphant in the end. 🙂
