Self-Care Saturday: Declutter One Small Area in Your Home

Hello friends!

For today’s Self-Care Saturday, let’s tackle a small but powerful task—decluttering one area in your home.

A cluttered space can contribute to a cluttered mind. Clearing out even a tiny corner—a desk drawer, a nightstand, or a shelf—can bring a surprising sense of calm and accomplishment.

Choose one small spot that feels manageable. Set a timer for 10-15 minutes and sort through the items. Keep what sparks joy or is useful, and set aside the rest to donate, recycle, or toss.

Decluttering isn’t about perfection; it’s about creating space to breathe and feel organized. It’s a gentle act of caring for your environment and, in turn, yourself.

Once you’ve cleared that space, take a moment to notice how it makes you feel—a little lighter, a little more peaceful.

I’d love to hear what space you chose to declutter this week! Drop a comment, and let’s encourage each other.

Wishing you a fresh start this weekend,
Edelweiss

    1. Thank you! 😊 I totally agree with you. I finally put away my winter clothes last week and brought out my summer ones… it feels so good to have it done. It’s been sitting in the back of my mind for a while, so it feels great to finally check it off the list.
