What is your favorite restaurant?

Hmmm… what is my favorite restaurant? That got me thinking—my all-time favorite used to be a cozy Japanese restaurant thousands of miles away across the country. But lately? I’ve discovered a new favorite just around the corner—a Korean BBQ spot my family and I absolutely adore. We’ve celebrated special occasions there over the past few years, and the food is just as delicious as the first time we went.

The best part? We get to listen to BTS songs while dining! There’s a huge poster of the Bangtan Boys welcoming you at the entrance, and TinyTan action figures at the cashier’s counter—it’s super cute! My husband even used the same figurines as cake toppers for my birthday cake a few years back.

Our go-to orders are always samgyeopsal and beef bulgogi—nothing beats the sizzle and flavor of those on the grill. We all have our roles when it comes to grilling, and our daughter loves helping out. She gets so into it, flipping the meat with care and pride, like a little grill master. It’s honestly the sweetest thing.

And we can’t forget the side dishes—we love all the banchan! From the tangy kimchi and crunchy pickled radish to the savory fish cake and creamy potato salad, each side dish brings something unique to the table.

It’s always an enjoyable experience, and grilling your own food makes it even more fun. It’s another way for us to bond as a family while enjoying a delicious meal together. Making memories like this? It’s truly one of the best things.
