Daily Prompt: Grateful and Guilty

Whether it’s a trashy TV show, extra-pulpy fiction, or nutrient-free candy, write a thank-you note to your guiltiest guilty pleasure (thanks for the prompt suggestion, Sarah!)

Here goes my letter to one of my all time favorite shows. 😀

Dear Revenge,

Thank you for making my Sunday nights more exciting and making me forget for a moment that the next day is Monday. We all know how Monday goes :-/.

Your show has inspired me in more ways than one and made me realize that rich people have more problems than simple ordinary folks like myself. Yes, I know it’s just a show but we’ve all heard of wealthy people wasting their life away for real. So anyway, sometimes I don’t get all the drama and why you all keep making things complicated when there are times that it really isn’t; but then again that’s one of the things I love about your show. It keeps me at the edge of my seat. 😉 I love when Emily Thorne (aka Amanda Clarke) is plotting her next move and she does things that you don’t expect. Then there’s Nolan Ross. I admire how smart and sassy Nolan is! Plus he gets extra points because he’s a cool IT Nerd, someone I can actually relate to in that show at least on that part :D. And who can forget one of the most gorgeous villains I’ve ever seen. Oh Victoria, I love and hate you at the same time. 😀 Please stop manipulating people! Grrrrr! 😛 For goodness’ sake help your daughter! Help her get her act together because she’s really becoming an ungrateful “itch B” and wasting her life away. Ugh, rich kids! Then there’s Daniel Grayson aka douchebag. He gets on my nerves! Hahahaha! How about Jack Porter? Oh poor Jack Porter! He’s always so dramatic and sometimes I don’t even know what he’s whining about anymore. Stop the drama dude! LOL! Lastly, what’s up with David Clarke?! Surprise, surprise! He’s alive! What’s up with him coming back after all the drama that everybody went through? How about his daughter Emily? My goodness! How can you put your daughter through so much pain and heartache because she thought she was fighting for justice against the people who caused your death? What kind of father does that? S-E-L-F-I-S-H! Tsk! Tsk!

Anyway, enough of my rant because whether I admit it or not I am obviously so hooked on your show and I so look forward to each episode. I love the show so much that I now feel like I know all of you personally. 😀

Thank you for the 60 minutes of drama, action and inspiration. Yes, I said inspiration because I love those Emily Thorne quotes in the beginning of each episode. As a matter of fact I have a favorite one that I’ve posted as a status update in Facebook multiple times and people always liked it because it speaks the truth and your show always delves into real-life problems mainly about trust between people most especially to those in your inner circle.

Thanks again complicated peeps! Please continue to keep it intriguing! 😉

Sincerely,

Edelweiss

P.S.

Please keep the original cast no matter what because aside from them looking all beautiful, they are all perfect for the role and are doing an excellent job. 😉 By the way, below is my favorite Emily Thorne quote and kudos to the show’s writers! 😉

“Doubt is a disease. It infects the mind, creating a mistrust of people’s motives and of one’s own perceptions. Doubt has the ability to call into question everything you’ve ever believed about someone, and reinforce the darkest suspicions of our inner circles.”
