Weekly Photo Challenge: Achievement

I wasn’t sure what other ways to interpret this at first because I thought I didn’t have any photo that best describes an achievement. I took a photo of my very first painting because that was a great achievement for me but somehow I was not satisfied with the idea then 24 hours later I remembered that I actually have taken a photo that’s perfect for this challenge.

In October of 2013, I went to a triathlon event for the very first time in my life. My better half and I were up at around 5 o’clock in the morning to witness his cousin compete for his very first triathlon competition in the U.S. His cousin, Jose “OHJ” Nobles IV was the champion of the Super Trikids Triathlon (ages 13-15) at the 5th Anvaya Cove Invitational Triathlon held in the Philippines. He was also among the top qualifiers at Philippine Youth Olympic Games (YOG). Ohj had just migrated to the US along with his younger sister and parents a month prior to the Skins Fearless Triathlon event. We are so proud of him for being the top super sprint male and finishing first place overall . He did an excellent job considering he had less than a month to prepare for the competition
