The last time I got lost was back in 2011 with my fiance when we were heading home from Las Vegas. It was Memorial Day weekend and we didn’t want to get caught in traffic going back home to San Diego so we decided to leave around 3 AM. Halfway through our travel we both started feeling tired and sleepy. No surprise there because we haven’t slept at all! We both needed a power nap so we figured why not go to Denny’s, take a nap at the parking lot then eat breakfast after waking up before resuming our long drive home. Thankfully we found a Denny’s along Baker Blvd in Baker, CA! An added bonus was finding this quite unique store called Alien Fresh Jerky. Honestly, I am a little freaked out about the whole alien thing so I didn’t bother having a photo of me taken but my fiance was like a kid in a candy store after seeing this place and wanted a souvenir photo. It was still dark when we arrived in the area so can you blame me if I wasn’t feeling comfortable to pose for a souvenir photo?!  Anyway, we were able to get some rest and thanks to Denny’s but sorry if we bailed and decided not to eat breakfast at your restaurant. Hahaha! We had a change of heart after waking up and wanted to eat somewhere else but of course only after taking my fiance’s “alien” souvenir photos. 😀
