I feel blessed to have such wonderful friends whom some have been my friends since childhood and we are still in touch with each other to this day. Among my friends are three of my best friends and I am a proud godmother to all threes first-born child. It’s funny that all three of them have sons as first-born 🙂 . I’ve been BFF’s with one of them since I was seven, the other since I was eight and the other since I was fifteen. Two of them I don’t get to spend a lot of time with as the other lives out-of-state and the other out of the country but thanks to technology and Facebook as we are able to keep in touch with each other everyday 🙂 . My other BFF is practically my neighbor as she lives about 5 minutes away from me. Married life, motherhood and work is keeping her busy these days but we try to spend time whenever we’re both available along with some of our friends. As a matter of fact, we just had a bachelorette’s party for one of our friends who’s getting married in 2 weeks! We’re quite excited for her as this is the first big wedding within our circle of friends and we are two of the bridesmaids along with our two other friends.

My two other BFF’s and I keep in touch with each other through Facebook, Skype, text and email. It’s been 6 years since I got to spend some time with my BFF who lives from out-of-state and 6 months with my BFF who lives out of the country. But even though I don’t get to spend a lot of time with them, whenever we see each other it’s as if we were never apart. There’s never a dull moment and the conversations are always meaningful. We’d laugh at things that we did when we were kids and the things that we used to talk about. I’m always amazed at how much we’ve all grown, lived different lives, had different experiences, different careers and different interests…..but yet we are still the same girls bonded by love, sisterhood and true friendship that we value since we were just kids. 🙂 ♥
