One of the best things in life is when someone expresses how much they appreciate you whether it’s a family, a friend or a complete stranger. A simple smile, a thank you or any gesture that denotes gratitude really warms my heart. A few days ago a friend of mine who’s been going through some challenges in life lately was seeking advice. Like always, I look at both sides of the angle, weigh each option and give the best advice I could give. I try not to be biased and I give my honest opinion about the pros and cons of each situation and decision. After exchanging some thoughts with each other, my friend then said to me, “You’re my reality check friend” and I laughed and said that it would be my new status update! Hahahaha! But I thought that was a nice gesture of appreciation. I’m glad to know that I can help even in the smallest way. I feel happy to know that my simple ways of trying to help is appreciated and that definitely put a smile on my face! 🙂
