Throwback Thursday!

Image
I miss NYC! This photo was taken on my first visit to NYC back in 1999. I was so excited to see the Big Apple and wish we had more time exploring that day. Notice something on the upper right photo? It’s the Twin Towers two years before the tragedy took place 😦 I’m so glad I got the chance to see it then.

  1. You should come back Edelweiss! The skyline has again been filled up πŸ™‚
The photographs are adorable! πŸ™‚ My kid cousin just came to NYC for the first time a few weeks ago and I took to her to all of these places LOL! πŸ™‚

    1. Thanks Amba! I definitely will when I go visit my family in CT. Haven’t been back home since 2010. Hopefully this summer or fall. πŸ™‚ The last time I was in NY was on New Year’s eve of 2009 waiting for the ball drop in Time Square. It was extremely cold that night. It was -22 and super windy. I had five layers of clothing and still froze my butt! Hahahaha! But it was a wonderful experience that I will always treasure! I might actually do it again eventually with friends. πŸ™‚

      1. Wow really? I was feeling sorry for myself cuz I haven’t been home since summer 2011. But now I have company-and you know misery loves company LOL! I cannot believe you waited to ring the New Year’s in, in that freezing weather! You are out of this world! πŸ™‚

  2. Hahahaha! I hope to visit home this summer or Thanksgiving. Keeping my fingers crossed! πŸ˜€ You should totally try celebrating New Year’s eve at Time Square even just one time! It’s a MUST! You have to experience it and hopefully when you do the weather is much better than when I was there. It’s an awesome experience! πŸ˜‰
