Wow! After cramming for two and a half days trying to load my brain with 500 plus pages worth of information, I am super excited and proud to share the news that I am now ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) v3 Foundation certified! Wohoo! All the hardwork and brain overloading paid off! I am beyond ecstatic as this is my very first certification in IT. I have planned on getting one or two certifications in my field since graduating from college but I never got around it. It’s been a long time coming for me and it’s certainly worth every effort! It’s a great feeling when a goal is met! This is the motivation I need so I can finally get myself into prepping for the other 2 exams (MCDST & MOS) that I’ve been wanting to take for quite sometime now. I’m also grateful that my boss made this possible for me. The encouragement and support are enough motivation for me to do my best to pass the exam. Now I hope I can contribute more for the greater good of our organization with the new knowledge that I have acquired from my ITIL class.
I am really glad that I passed and I can’t wait to get my certificate! 🙂
P.S. I had to bust out my victory dance for this one! Hahahaha!

Excellent, job well done! I too am in the IT field and have three certifications along with my B.S. in IT (CompTIA A+ and Network+ as well as MCITP: Enterprise Desktop Support Technician on Windows 7). It certainly is a thrilling experience once you’ve learned you’ve passed the certification. Keep going! The more certifications you get, the more marketable you.
I’ll be pursuing my Microsoft Exchange 2010 certification as the year rolls through. Again, great job and congratulations!
