The Conversation I Wish I Could Have

Who would you like to talk to soon?

Lately, I’ve been thinking about the kind of conversation that really fills your soul—the kind that goes deeper than the surface and stays with you long after it ends. If I could sit down with anyone, three very different but deeply impactful names come to mind: Joel Osteen, Apolo Ohno, and BTS.

Joel’s voice has been part of my daily rhythm for a while now. I listen to him every day on SiriusXM during car rides—and so does my daughter. It’s become a comforting ritual, one that keeps me grounded in faith, grace, and hope. His words always seem to land at just the right moment.

APOLO OHNO

Apolo inspires me with his resilience and mindset. He represents discipline, reinvention, and the courage to evolve. His journey reminds me that growth rarely happens in comfort zones—but pushing through can lead to something powerful and life-changing.

BTS

And then there’s BTS. With their reunion drawing closer, I find myself thinking about them often—not just as artists, but as individuals who’ve shared their lives, struggles, and growth so openly. I’d love to ask them these same questions, especially after everything they’ve experienced during their military service:

How has military life changed you—not just as performers, but as people?

What’s the most important thing you’ve learned while serving?

What did you discover about yourselves during that time away from the spotlight?

How will the changes in you now shape the next chapter of your music, your bond, and your message?

And if I could sit down with all of them—Joel, Apolo, and BTS—these are the questions I’d love to ask:

What keeps you inspired? Who or what fuels your purpose?

When life doesn’t go according to your plans, how do you keep your faith and focus intact?

What’s been the most trying times of your life, and how did you push through it?

How do you respond when people doubt your path—when they can’t see your vision?

If you could go back and rewrite just one part of your story, what would it be?

How do you want to be remembered? What kind of legacy do you want to leave behind?

And if you could share just one piece of advice with the rest of us, what would it be—and why?

These are the questions that echo in my own heart, especially during quiet moments. I find myself reflecting on purpose, faith, and growth—and what it truly means to keep showing up, no matter the season of life.

I guess I’m not just curious about their answers… I’m curious about ours—yours and mine. Maybe you’re walking through something right now. Maybe you’re dreaming of something big, or perhaps you just need a reminder that you’re not alone.

So let me ask you this…
If you could sit down with someone who truly inspires you—who would it be? And what would you ask?
