*** I was inspired to write this short poem because for me life is a continuous battle consisted of many trials and tribulations. But despite all of these, we have to remain strong and persevere because in the end we always come out of any adversities as a better and much stronger individual.
The background I used for this poem is the photo I took of my sister when she was visiting SoCal in the winter of 2011 π

β How you look at a situation is very important, for how you think about a problem may defeat you before you ever do anything about it. When you get discouraged or depressed, try changing your attitude from negative to positive and see how life can change for you. Remember, your attitude toward a situation can help you to change it β you create the very atmosphere for defeat or victory." β Franco Harris View all posts by exploreadventurediscover.com

I can’t say thank you enough for appreciating my work! It means a lot! π
Wow! That was beautiful. You should write more poetry. The photograph is fantastic by the way. Your sister must treasure it π I always feel that when someone cares enough to take a beautiful photograph of me, they must love me enough to have taken the time to freeze that moment and my memory, in time.
Thanks so much!!! I appreciate the kind words!!! π I do love my sister mucho and she is my only sister! Wish we get to spend more time together though but we live in different coasts. I on the west and she on the east. But she comes and visits me a few times a year and I go and visit my family back east as well. π
That’s wonderful. That you’ll take the time to visit each other and stay connected. My only brother lives in Australia, which is as far away as you can possible get from the US. LOL. I don’t get to see him often but we talk everyday π It’s the connection, not the distance that matters, right…. π
Exactly!!! π
