Don’t you think it’s annoying when you are looking for one of your things and you just can’t find it! That happens to me almost every time. When I actually find that stuff I spent hours looking for I usually put it aside somewhere where I know it’s safe but then months later I don’t remember where that “safe” location is and I can’t find my stuff because I hid it too well! Arrrgh! I seriously hate that! It’s stored somewhere absolutely safe that even I can’t find it! That’s why sometimes I just leave it lying around because it’s easier for me to find it when I need it. What’s funny though is that when I’m looking for something specific and I can’t find it, I end up finding the things I was looking for a while ago that I couldn’t find. Isn’t that ย ironic?!! One example is what happened to me today. I was looking for one of my favorite books and I ended up finding two of my other books that I was looking for four months ago when I was leaving for the Philippines. I did find the specific book I was looking for though, thank goodness! It’s just that I have so many books and don’t have enough space in the house or I should say I have way too much stuff for a small place particularly clothes, bags and shoes. In my defense, I’m just like any normal girl who loves the girly things ;-). Wait, that just got me thinking. Maybe I should go through my stuff again and get rid of the things I haven’t used in a long time or things I bought that I don’t even remember buying. Seriously! Sometimes I find things in my closet that I don’t remember owning. I was just telling my fiance recently that I’m going to create a database for my clothes, shoes and accessories. I would take photos of my outfits (remember Clueless) as well and add that in the database so I can just browse through it every time I can’t figure out what to wear, which happens a lot. Well, maybe not a lot. Okay…okay…who am I fooling, it happens almost all the time. See, I’m the type of person who thinks about what I’m going to wear at least 48 hours in advance. I think about where I’ll be going and what I’m going to do there so I can wear what feels comfortable to me and what’s appropriate. The worst thing for me is when I can’t figure out what to wear because I didn’t plan ahead of time. I seriously get anxiety just from that. I think it has something to do with my OCD though, the habit of wanting certain things organized in a certain way and the need to match things. Now I’m not anything like a Stepford wife but I have the tendency to nitpick and it’s usually just to myself.
Anyway, this was supposed to be just my short Tuesday rant talking about the irony of finding things when you’re not looking for it and not finding the ones you are actually looking for.
Well, ย bye for now. Until my next post! Have a goodnight! Peace! ๐

My siblings and I all dreaded when our mother would say, “oh, I put that in a safe place for you.”
It really meant that we’d never see it again because she’d forget where she put things. ๐
