I seriously love these things! It looks so real! These plastic food replicas are called sampuru (サンプル) which was derived from the English word sample and can be purchased at Kappabashi-dori in Tokyo and also at Doguyasuji in Namba, Osaka. I wanted to buy some to bring home on my last visit to Japan but I wasn’t willing to pay extra for an overweight luggage so I said next time 😉 .
