Today marks 15 years since I started this blog.

Looking back, my early posts were such a mix of everything I loved… personal thoughts, things I was curious about, photography (which I’ve always loved), fun facts, quotes that inspired me, stories that moved me, my travels and food adventures, daily prompts, and even some blogging challenges I joined. I also shared my own quotes and poetry… one of the reasons I started this blog in the first place, along with memories, little treasures from childhood or moments in life I wanted to hold onto.

Many of the highs and lows I’ve been through were shared here….pieces of my life that taught me, shaped me, and helped me grow. The lessons I learned are woven into each word, quote, poem, photograph, and late-night thought I posted. This blog has been my refuge through so many seasons, and it anchored me most especially during some of the lowest points of my life.

Of course, there were quiet years too. From 2017–2022, I slowed down a lot and only posted a few times each year. Life has its seasons, and that was mine. But in 2023, I slowly found my way back to writing again…this time with a different perspective. Motherhood has changed me so much. It’s given me new eyes, new lessons, and a deeper way of looking at life. These days, I write more about family, motherhood, relationships, faith, and the reflections that come with everyday living.

Lately, I’ve been drawn to sharing affirmations, quotes, and gentle reminders, still rooted in that same love for words that inspired me to start this journey 15 years ago. Most of my travels and food stories live on another platform for now, but I’m slowly working on bringing them back here too. I also started another website dedicated solely to affirmations, essays, and reflections, a natural extension of where my writing has led me.

This blog has grown with me and even changed names with me…from Un Giorno Nella Vita (“A Day in the Life”) to Explore Adventure Discover. It’s a reminder that blogging, like life, is never about being perfect or consistent all the time. It’s about showing up in whatever season you’re in.

And since today is also Thankful Tuesday, I just want to say THANK YOU. 💜 To those who’ve been here since the early days, and to those who have only recently found me… thank you for reading, for encouraging me, and for being part of this journey.

Here’s to 15 years of words, memories, and connection…and to all the stories still waiting to be told.
