Today in our Self-Care Saturday series, we’re focusing on gratitude. It’s amazing how taking a moment to acknowledge the good in our lives can shift our mindset and boost our mood.
Grab a notebook, your phone’s notes app, or even a scrap of paper—whatever you have handy. Write down three things you’re grateful for today. They can be big or small: a kind word from a friend, a sunny morning, or simply having a moment of peace.
Focusing on gratitude helps us see the positives amid life’s challenges. It rewires our brain to notice blessings, which can increase happiness and reduce stress.
Try to be specific and genuine with what you write. When you look back on your list later, you might be surprised by how much light you’ve captured.
