This past weekend was one for the books—a trip to NYC filled with adventure, good food, and, most importantly, a night we will cherish forever. We finally got to see a BTS member perform live, and not just any member—J-Hope!
Attending Hope on the Stage Tour at Barclays Center was nothing short of spectacular. J-Hope’s energy, stage presence, and dedication to his craft were beyond words. He performed for over two hours, barely taking a break, and every second was filled with electrifying dancing, powerful vocals, and mind-blowing effects. It was surreal to finally witness his artistry in person, and it felt like a small glimpse of what a full BTS concert would be like.
What made it even more special was that this was our first concert as a family—and our daughter’s first concert ever! She calls BTS her uncles, so seeing “Uncle J-Hope” live was a dream come true for her. She waved her light stick with so much excitement, completely immersed in the experience. At first, the crowd’s cheers startled her, but after that, she embraced the moment, singing along and dancing. We even brought her a headset, just in case, but she was fully engaged the whole time. Watching her enjoy the concert made my heart so full.
Beyond the concert, our NYC adventure was packed with our favorite things. We made a stop at the Line Friends store to check out BT21 merch (because, of course, Tata fans like us couldn’t resist!). We visited church, enjoyed a comforting bowl of ramen at Ichiran, indulged in our go-to Jollibee feast, and soaked in the bright lights of Times Square. My daughter didn’t want to leave—she wanted the fun to last forever—but reality called, with school the next day.
I’m so incredibly thankful for weekends like these—where music, family, and adventure come together to create memories that will last a lifetime. This trip reminded me of how precious these moments are, how music has the power to connect us, and how seeing the joy in my daughter’s eyes makes everything worth it.
And now, we wait for the day when BTS reunites, because you know we’ll be there, ready for another unforgettable concert as a family. Until then, we hold onto the magic of this weekend, grateful for every second of it.

It’s definitely one for the books! 💜🔥
