Daily Prompt: Our Sweet Fur Baby’s Pawprints on Our Lives

What is good about having a pet?

For many people, pets are family. They add joy to our lives, reduce stress and gives us unconditional love. Pets also offer emotional support, encourage physical activity, and create a sense of routine and responsibility in our daily lives. It’s just like having another child. 😁

Pets are good for our health. They make us happy, which in turn reduces our stress and anxiety. I, for one, can attest to the health benefits of owning a cat.

My little fur baby has tremendously helped me in terms of reducing my anxiety caused by OCD (Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder). She has also been a great emotional support. Cats are known for their ability to sense human emotions.

My sweet Leila always sits next to me when everyone is asleep, and I’m binge-watching my favorite shows late at night. She does the same thing when I’m blogging.

For example, when I hurt myself and screamed from pain, like when I stubbed my pinky on the edge of the ottoman, she ran to me and meowed with that concerned look on her face. My husband and daughter were both so amazed when they witnessed how our cat reacted.

Pets are amazing! The love they give us is unconditional even when sometimes they are being naughty. 🤣 It can be annoying sometimes but we always find joy in their silly antics.

I love my sweet fur baby to bits and grateful that she came into our lives. She’s been with us through many milestones. From many road trips to two cross-country moves, to pregnancy and raising a child, she’s been a part of it all. Our treat loving fur baby who makes our lives extra sweet by being in it.

❤️❤️❤️
