Daily Prompt: Family Favorites Dishes
What food would you say is your specialty?
What is my specialty when it comes to food? Hmmm. 🤔 I think I’m going by the favorites in my household that my little one and husband wouldn’t mind eating daily. I’m the one who gets bored making and eating the same thing every day. I don’t mind making it weekly but after I’ve had it twice a week, I’m ready to move on. 😁 I’m glad I love cooking as that could get expensive if I were to buy cooked food a couple of times a week.
Anyway, here are my specialties as they are my family’s favorites. 😊
I love Old Spaghetti Factory’s Garlic Mizithra but my version is with rigatoni instead of spaghetti and I use ricota salata cheese instead of mizithra.Wagyu Ground Beef Fried Rice with Sunny-Side UpMy own version of a Filipino staple, adobo. I make this in three different versions and one involves using the oven and the other a skillet. I also don’t use regular soy sauce on my Adobo.
I forgot to add the spaghetti bolognese and the Filipino spaghetti in this post. Perhaps I’ll just share some of my recipes next time like I mentioned in my Tasty Thursdays post. 😊 Talking about food is now making me hungry. 😁
“ How you look at a situation is very important, for how you think about a problem may defeat you before you ever do anything about it. When you get discouraged or depressed, try changing your attitude from negative to positive and see how life can change for you. Remember, your attitude toward a situation can help you to change it — you create the very atmosphere for defeat or victory." – Franco Harris View all posts by 🌼 Edelweiss 🌼
